Solutions Engineer - Hortonworks

Global Health Company in Hartford is seeking a Solutions Engineer/Architect skilled with HORTONWORKS to join them on a consulting opportunity with the potential to go perm. We're looking for candidates with the following skill set and experience to fill the role.

Responsibilities & Experience: 

• This is an architect, high level - focused on identifying solutions. Should have a strong programming background but this is not a hands-on development role. This person needs to have strong communication and be able to articulate to the dev team
• Candidate must have Hadoop (HDP 2.6 through at least 3.0) - they're currently in HDP 3.1
• Candidate mush have big data experience
• Candidate must have strong documentation and presentation skills: use PPT, Vizio
